ABOUT
Ash Whitt is a Texas-based mixed media artist with an influential background in Interior Design. She is known for her signature bold, colorful, often playful style, that is reminiscent of her natural and cultural surroundings.
Growing up, Ash found herself studying the colors of Mexico, South America, and the general Southwest. Utilizing the palettes of textiles, architecture and early art that she experienced, Ash began weaving her unparalleled inspirations into her own fine art. Her work is crafted by a variety of mediums from traditional paints, oil pastels, watercolor and mixed media to new media, digital arts and photography. She also enjoys translating her art into furniture designs, textile patterns and home & gift products.
Ash was recently featured on Dot & Bo as well as HauteATX. A line of her work has been licensed by Tree Free Greetings, has been shown in Vieques, Puerto Rico, Gallery Galleon and Wesley Gallery in Dripping Springs,Texas.
